FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is PNG Cut?
PNG Cut is a free online workspace for image and PDF tasks. You can remove image backgrounds, resize or crop images, convert image formats, compress files and use selected PDF tools in your browser.
Is PNG Cut free to use?
Yes. PNG Cut is designed to provide useful image and PDF tools without requiring you to create an account for basic use.
How does the background remover work?
Upload an image in the background remover, and the tool automatically identifies the main subject and removes the surrounding background. You can then review the result, make small adjustments where available and download a transparent PNG.
Which image formats are supported?
PNG Cut supports common image formats such as JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP. Some tools may support fewer formats depending on the task.
Why is my background-removal result not perfect?
Automated background removal can be difficult when an image has hair, shadows, transparent objects, low contrast, a busy background or a subject with colours similar to the background. For the best result, use a clear and well-lit image.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
PNG Cut is designed to process supported tools in the browser where possible. However, you should avoid uploading confidential documents, personal IDs, passwords or sensitive images to any online tool.
Can I remove backgrounds from multiple images?
Yes. Use the Bulk option in the background remover to select multiple supported images. Processing time can depend on your device, browser and the number or size of images.
Why does the first image sometimes take longer?
The first use may take longer because your browser needs to prepare the processing engine. Later images can be faster while the required files remain available in the browser cache.
Will the downloaded PNG keep its original size?
PNG Cut aims to preserve image quality and dimensions where possible. The final file size can still change depending on transparency, image format and the editing options you select.
Can I use PNG Cut on a mobile phone?
Yes. PNG Cut is designed to work on modern mobile and desktop browsers. For larger files or bulk processing, a desktop browser may provide a smoother experience.
What PDF tools are available?
Available tools may include image-to-PDF, PDF-to-image, merge PDF, split PDF, PDF compression and text extraction. Tool availability can change as PNG Cut is updated.
Why is a compressed file not much smaller?
Some files are already optimised, especially PNG images and certain PDFs. Compression cannot always reduce the size significantly without reducing quality or changing the file format.
Can I use PNG Cut results for commercial work?
You are responsible for ensuring that you own the image or have permission to use it. Always review the final result before using it in product listings, advertising, client work or other commercial projects.
How can I report a problem?
You can contact us at Gamingmj125@gmail.com with the tool name, device/browser details and a screenshot of the error if possible. You can also message @jahed._01 on Instagram.
